About the Exhibit:
The color “Azure” takes its name from the intense blue mineral Lapis Lazuli. “Azure Coast” is a name commonly used for the French Riviera. Writers refer to the “Azure Sky” to reference in a poetic way the blue of a clear or unclouded sky. Poets also refer to the ocean as the “Azure Sea."
